Generation Innovation – Looking Ahead

Since 2020, Generation Innovation has empowered thousands of young people across Northern Ireland with the skills, confidence, and experience to shape their futures. We are incredibly proud of what we’ve built together—with the support of our partners, educators, and participants.

However, we want to be transparent: the Generation Innovation Work Experience Programme will not run in 2025, as we have been unable to secure funding for delivery this year.

While this is not the news we hoped to share, our commitment to supporting young people remains stronger than ever. We are already exploring new ways to evolve Generation Innovation—building on the incredible impact to date and seeking opportunities to return with even greater reach and relevance.

To students and teachers – we invite you to register your interest so we can keep you informed of future opportunities. Your continued engagement helps us demonstrate just how much this programme matters.
